Selective Mutism Group

Selective Mutism GroupSMG, part of the Childhood Anxiety Network, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information, resources and support to those impacted by a child with the anxiety disorder known as Selective Mutism (SM). SMG is the nation's premier resource for information on SM. We provide a network of professionals, families and affected individuals across the world who understand the struggle of living in silence.

To live up to the billing of the nation's premier resource for information on SM, SMG group contracted with Boondock Walker to provide a completely new web presence that not only implemented a fresh new design to represent their professional image, but to include features and functionality that help geographically disperse board members, volunteers and members to achieve SMG's mission.

315 Caxton in partnership with Boondock Walker and Michael Lehto implemented a Plone-based content management system which enables people to register as SMG members and/or as Treating Professionals. Various information on the site is restricted to Members and/or Treating Professionals.

This project is a multi-phase process to increasingly add the functionality required by the Selective Mutism Group, increasing functionality over time and based on SMG's budget.

Fund For Our Economic Future

Advance Northeast Ohio Website315 Caxton has worked with the Fund For Our Economic Future, an affiliated program of the Cleveland Foundation, in developing the Voices and Choices website. Voices and Choices was an unparalleled effort to involve residents of Northeast Ohio's 15 counties to participate in developing the priorities of NEO for economic development. The Voices and Choices website facilitated this initiative and provided a way for people to register for events. The Voices and Choices website was a drupal-based content management system that also utilized Civicrm for client relationship management.

Upon the completion of the Voices and Choices initiative, the Fund For Our Economic Future began the "implementation" phase under the Advance Northeast Ohio label. 315 Caxton deployed a simple drupal-based website with minimal changes. The Fund uses this site to highlight economic development and regionalization progress in Northeast Ohio.

Japanese Association of Northeast Ohio

JANO WebsiteJANO, the Japanese Association of Northeast Ohio, needed a new consolidated website that would handle their increasing use of the internet to communicate with current members and as a mechanism for acquiring new members.

JANO is a non-profit organization that supports Japanese nationals living in the Northeast Ohio region. Traditionally, the organization has been supported by member volunteer efforts to generate a paper-based newsletter. As the demographics of the Japanese nationals coming to live in the Northeast region, JANO realized that it needed to shift its efforts to the Internet. Rob Hawkins, as a volunteer member of JANO, created the JANO website that was released in 2007.

315Caxton is hosting JANO's Django-based website.
